Visibility is managed through three levels, at the "Visibility and sharing" step of a data offering creation, in order to determine who can access your data offerings, allowing you to adjust settings to meet your needs as closely as possible.
Internal access for members of your organization
You can define who within your organization can view and edit each of your data offerings in the "Publication" universe.
By authorizing your colleagues to edit your data offerings, you can work collaboratively on your publications.
Visibility on the Data Exchange Platform
Offering listed on the TF1 Hub
You can choose to make your data offering visible to all authenticated participants on the platform. In this case, it will be visible in the search results for all members, who will be able to contact you to acquire it.
Private offering
You may limit access to your data offering to selected platform members. Those people can check your data offering directly from the "Explore" menu, or via a link in an automatically generated e-mail message. If they are not yet platform members, they will be invited to register to access your data offering.
Several options are available for limiting access to invited guests or partners:
- Selection by mail - You may invite one or several contacts by entering their e-mail addresses, separated by a comma ( , ).
- Selection by organization - Select the organization from the drop-down list. All the members in that organization will have access to your data offering.
- Selection by group - You may limit your data offering's visibility to a specific group to which you belong.
You may choose to make your data available only to those participants who are authenticated on the platform. In that case, the data offering is visible in marketplace search results for registered members, who can then contact you for acquisition.
Visibility outside the platform
Increase your data offering's visibility by disseminating it on your site, in your newsletters, and on social networks. By choosing to make your data offering available outside the platform, a preview of the data offering can be seen by anyone who knows the URL.
