API accessibility is checked via automatic tests every 8 hours, starting from the first successful test when the data offering is created.
If the API is inaccessible for over 24 hours, the data provider receives an email notification informing them of the API's inaccessibility, and inviting them to take action.
Data acquirers who have already acquired the data offering will also be notified by e-mail that the API is no longer accessible.
The platform continues testing the endpoints for five days after the first unsuccessful test. If one of these test shows the API is back to being available, the data acquirer and the data provider are informed by email.
The data offering remains available on the platform. New data acquirers will still be able to acquire the data offering, and will have access to the data when the API is available again.
